The Bankfield’s annual ski trip was another success by the end of the week we had all learnt how to ski and everyone had been on at least a red run with one student doing the run without even stopping till she got to the flat section of the hill where she fell over! Miss Holland also gave us all a laugh when she fell on the flat section of the beginners slope and bruised her arm. Our advance skiers were on the black slopes the whole time as well as doing some off piste skiing and they also made excellent progress.
In the evenings we did a variety of activities swimming, disco, movie / quiz night, tubing and bowling unfortunately the staff team won the bowling however they did lose in the snowball fight. On disco night the two schools had a dance off we were robbed at the post by the other school but we all put in an outstanding dance.
It was an excellent trip and I would recommend any one to go on this trip as it is an experience you will never forget.
